How To Make Perfect Italian Tortellini Boscaiola





Prep Time: 30 minutes

4 Serves


1 packet of tortellini

8 rashers of bacon – chopped

1 tablespoon of butter

4 cloves of garlic – crushed

3 cups of thickened cream

2 tablespoons of flat leaf parsley

1 brown onion – chopped

1/3 cup of parmesan cheese – grated

2 cups of mushrooms – sliced

¼ cup of dry white wine


  • Cook pasta.
  • Grab a frying pan.
  • Melt butter over a medium flame.
  • Pop your onion, bacon, garlic and mushrooms in.
  • Cook until tender.
  • Add white wine and simmer.
  • Let sauce reduce by half.
  • Pour in cream.
  • Bring to the boil.
  • Lower flame.
  • Simmer.
  • Sauce will thicken.
  • Add parsley, parmesan and pasta.
  • Season.
  • Serve up!
